Tiana Ruby Chen

My Aryclic Painting Journey started in May 2021.

I have had an inner desire for the pursuit of art since I was young, but did not have formal training until recently. I finally managed to enroll in a group art class organized by Pastor in 2021.

I have been continuously painting since then. I do not know where I am going with this journey but I know that I will be following God's inspiration and lead every step of the way.

I hope to express His Peace, Joy, Comfort and Love through my artwork. My heart's desire is to allow my artworks to minister to His people and bring Him delight.
This is a new journey and look forward to more to come.

Artist chitchat with Tiana Ruby Chen.

This year, we will be seeing some new artists at our art show and we are definitely excited about showing them off. Tiana is one of them.

Q. How long have you been painting?

I always have an urge to draw or paint every now and then but I never really acted on it until last May when I enrolled in an art class conducted by Irene, whom I met in 2018 at an exhibition that was organised by her.

Q. How many pieces of work will you be showing at this exhibition?

This is my first exhibition and I’ll be exhibiting seven acrylic paintings and a few sketches.

Q. Do you have any expectation since this is your first show?

Well, this is a new field for me so there are new things that I am looking forward to learn and experience through participating in this exhibition.

Q. Is there anything you would like to share about your art with your potential viewers?

I hope my art will point you to Jesus and that you will experience His love, peace, joy, comfort and healing through my work.
